Rosa E. Flores grew up in a family full of business people, and while her (exhausted) mother always tried to make her interested in numbers and money, her heart was deep into art and stories. At some point during high school she discovered a sad true: While she had decent drawing skills, she was really bad at creating stories. Despite that (sad) fact, stories and art are what she loves the most, so if she wasn’t going to be able to write stories in the way she wanted, she was going to become the best story teller in the media. That’s how she decided she wanted to become an animator (since being a witch is not considered a real career choice.)

With that on mind, she started a three year program at Universidad de Artes Digitales in her hometown (Guadalajara) that earned her a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Digital Arts. Her first job was for the Mexican Government creating 3D models for educational apps and manuals. After that, she worked for a while in marketing and design, where she learned a lot about campaigns and clients, but she wasn’t happy working there since it was completely unrelated to her main goal. So after a couple of years of saving money, she decided to attend the “3D Animation + VFX” program at Vancouver Film School (3D animation stream), where she earned her Diploma and completed the production of her short student film “Glow”.

On her daily life she enjoys Finnish breakfasts, angsty songs, passive-aggressive clothing, Chuck Palahniuk books, nihilistic TV shows, Drag Culture, psychological horror, researching about pagan religions and taking pictures of random dogs she sees on the street. Also Batman.
